The exhibition will explore some great water-saving innovations that can help save our precious water resources
City of Cape Town Executive Mayor, Patricia de Lille, invites all media and members of the public to the City's Think Water Exhibition at the Canal Walk shopping centre this weekend.
The exhibition will explore some great water-saving innovations that can help save our precious water resources. With Level 4 water restrictions already implemented, we all need to get our daily usage down to less than 100 litres per person per day in total whether at work, home, school or elsewhere.
Over 30 companies will be exhibiting different ideas, ranging from water-saving apps to greywater and rainwater harvesting systems, plus some useful water-saving advice from the City.
The exhibition will be open from 16:00 to 21:00 on Friday 9 June, and from 09:00 to 21:00 on Saturday 10 June and Sunday 11 June 2017.
This exhibition is in line with the City's new Organisational Development and Transformation Plan which places great emphasis on partnerships and innovation for a more sustainable and resilient future Cape Town.
Mayor De Lille and the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Informal Settlements, Water and Waste Services; and Energy, Councillor Xanthea Limberg, will be doing walkabouts through the exhibition.
