Ellis names starting 11 v Japan as Smeda reaches 100 caps

Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has named her starting 11 for the friendly international match against Japan here in Fukuoka (Sunday, 10 November 2019).

Ellis has handed veteran Leandra Smeda her 100th cap, a milestone for the hardworking striker.

There are a few surprises in the starting line-up and Ellis welcomes back kingpins Thembi Kgatlana and Linda Motlhalo who were plying their trade in China.
