Local authorities have arrested two men aged between 21 and 24 on Wednesday evening, 07 November 2018 at Willem Erasmus Street in Erasmia.
Crime prevention unit and Tshwane K9 members had been on routine patrol when they spotted a suspicious white VW Golf with two occupants. They stopped and searched the vehicle and discovered that the men were in possession of Rohypnol pills and they failed to produce a certificate to possess such medication.
Allegations suggests that this pills may be used to drug unsuspecting victim or to spike their drinks which could lead to being a target to criminals. However the pills will be sent for forensic analysis.
The pair will appear before Atteridgeville magistrate court soon. A case of Possession of drugs is opened at Erasmia SAPS for further police investigation.
